The pfenning Group is an owner-operated contract logistics provider that is based in Germany, but one that also already has some ten years' experience in European growth countries such as Hungary and Romania. Our service offerings range from classic storage and transport business to the operation of completely closed merchandise-management cycles on behalf of our varied customers.

For the chemicals industry, the automotive industry as well as chain store companies from the food retailing industry that are active across Germany, we operate several special warehouses that are based on the latest safety and hygiene standards and are also correspondingly certified.

The goal of our activities is to allow our clients to focus fully on their respective core business. In this way, we help to make them even stronger for the complex market requirements of our time.

The pfenning Group is just as proud of its heritage as it is of what it has become. When Johann Pfenning founded the company in the 1930s, he could not have envisaged that what was then a milk transportation business would develop into a logistics company operating throughout Europe. Although we at pfenning logistics no longer haul milk cans, the transport of foods is still one of our diverse areas of business. Of course, our service spectrum has expanded enormously since the beginning, because we, too, have grown constantly with the changing needs of our customers. The pfenning Group currently employs approximately 1,850 people, maintains more than 200,000 m2 of storage space as well as its own transport fleet of about 1,000 trucks. We are represented at more than 40 locations across Germany and Europe.

We put our extensive competence network to work every day to find optimum solutions for our clients' complex tasks. For us, competence is not an empty promise, but rather a solid foundation on which our customers can build.
