We provide the ideal vehicle fleet to meet the wide spectrum of commercial demands. The composition of the vehicle fleet is determined in close consultation with our customers. All the vehicles in our fleet are predominantly equipped with insulated dry-goods cases, cooling units and tail lifts.

Precise temperature documentation is essential, above all, in fresh-goods logistics. Thus, the vehicles from pfenning logistics are equipped with temperature loggers that, in addition to digital storage of the temperature data on a ring memory, support the printout of the current temperature at any time. As a result, our customers are able to e.g. check whether the trailer is pre-cooled prior to loading and can be loaded with temperature-sensitive goods. Alternatively, it is possible to review the entire temperature plot at the end of each transport journey with the press of a button. The digital memory in the device guarantees subsequent archiving of the temperature data. The use of temperature loggers ensures that we are able to provide our customers with the documentation of a transparent and high level of quality at any time.

Networked distance shipments require modern tracking and tracing systems in order to function efficiently. Our clients can learn the current transport status of their goods at any time via our Internet portal, just like our planning department. In combination with a powerful software program, we plan our routes precisely and transmit the relevant order data to the on-board computers in our vehicles. This lets us ensure integrated documentation, control and monitoring of all transports.

On board the trucks operated by the pfenning Group are so-called "On Board Units" (OBUs). These mini-computers, which are the size of a car radio, supply all relevant data via a GPS-supported satellite tracking system, e.g. the exact position of the respective vehicle. This allows us to provide our clients with the maximum possible transparency and the good feeling of always knowing where a delivery is currently located.
