For optimum administrative processing of orders, pfenning logistics uses a warehouse management system (WMS) that fully satisfies the requirements of the entire logistics process - from the receipt of goods, to warehousing and order picking, to the shipment of goods - all in a single system. The software that is used can simultaneously handle the flows of goods of various clients. Goods with special production numbers - such as lot numbers in the area of hygiene products or best-by dates for foods - are automatically recorded and monitored. Through the use of corresponding data interfaces with our clients' own IT systems, the inventory is automatically and constantly kept up to date. At the moment a shipment is issued, the warehouse management system generates the necessary freight documents and includes them with the order.
