The blueprint for the multicube concept offers space for 360-degree logistics with guaranteed added value on a storage area of 128,000 m². Located in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, the first multicube of its kind offers excellent infrastructural connections to all modes of transport. Together with its construction to the highest sustainable standards, this was a decisive factor in the DGNB Platinum certificate and the LOGIX Award. All multicubes are divided into different hall modules, making it possible to combine different product and retail worlds, e.g. chemicals, food and pharmaceuticals, at just one location. The multicube rhein-neckar is the largest multi-user logistics center in Germany that is operated by a single service provider. Furthermore, the logistics center built in 2012 is a real role model in terms of sustainability. 33,000 solar modules on the entire roof of the building produce an electricity output of 8.1 megawatt peak. The 11-hectare roof area thus ensures a total annual CO2 saving of 5,171 tons. How much is that? Enough to supply around 5,000 households with electricity. For the sake of the environment.
Excellent sustainability
The multicube rhein-neckar was awarded platinum by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in 2013. The overall compliance rate of 88.7% and the top score of 1.21 are still unrivaled today. This means that the logistics center is still the number 1 of all new industrial buildings in Europe with the largest contiguous storage and usable area of 128,000m². In addition, the site received the LOGIX Award for the consideration of all active and inactive project participants (e.g. local residents, community, etc.) during the entire construction phase.

Each multicube is divided into several hall modules, allowing different product and trade sectors, such as chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals, to be consolidated at a single location. This is made possible by individual modules that are completely separable from one another. This design enables us to offer our customers fully customized cost accounting. Additionally, the multi-user concept ensures significant cost optimization. Multiple customers with different product sectors can share the spaces, meaning they are not the sole cost bearers.
