Acquisition strengthens co-packing and sales promotion expertise for consumer goods
The pfenning group is expanding its service portfolio through the strategic acquisition of H.E.L.P. GmbH. The merger, which includes a 100% stake, was completed on July 19, 2023. With this acquisition, the pfenning group strengthens its expertise in optimizing retail goods for the point of sale.

The contract logistics provider pfenning is diversifying its services through a strategic acquisition and expanding into new target industries. The merger with H.E.L.P. GmbH from Hünfeld in the Fulda district was completed on July 19, 2023. The fulfillment expert specializes in co-packing, product refinement, and sales promotion, employing around 200 people. Founded in 1999, the company optimizes the value chain for the consumer goods and retail industry and will continue to develop its existing business areas within and for the pfenning group.
“By integrating H.E.L.P. GmbH into our corporate group, we are consolidating expertise in sales promotion for retailers and their suppliers, the consumer goods manufacturers. This also includes our business with our customer Nestlé Germany, which has been successfully working with the H.E.L.P. team since 2005. In September, the company will be nominated for the fourth time among the top ten for outstanding supplier performance by Nestlé Germany’s Supplier Award,” says Rana Matthias Nag, Managing Director of the pfenning group.
Founder and former owner Thomas Seiler decided to sell the company to the pfenning group for personal reasons but will continue to be active as a Key Account Manager. As part of the merger, his long-time core team has been appointed to the management board. Pamela Hohmann will take over as Commercial Director, while Sascha Nüchter will assume operational management.
